Why Choose Us
Routine foot and nail care by a certified health professional is beneficial to many who have trouble taking care of their feet and vital to those with conditions that affect the feet and legs! In addition to being a Certified Foot Care Nurse, Lisa is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and Diabetic Wound Certified. Lisa graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in 2016 and since then has worked as a nurse in a variety of rehabilitative settings including acute, post acute and home health. Prior to that, she served in the US Coast Guard. She has trained in complementary modalities including Healing Touch (Level 3 student), clinical aromatherapy and medicinal plants. What sets Sweet Feet apart is the owners dedicated training and experience in many aspects of foot, wound and holistic healthcare. Underlying disease states can be reflected in the health of our feet as the health of our feet -and ability to move- can reflect in our overall fitness level. Lisa can provide personalized education to help you understand and take charge of your foot and leg health in ways that matter.

Routine Foot Care

Our routine foot care includes nail trimming, callus reduction, and skin care to keep your feet healthy and comfortable. Nursing assessment and interventions to mitigate problems caused by footwear or environmental conditions. Referrals to a medical doctor, pedorthist or podiatrist as needed for conditions outside of scope.

Lymphatic Massage and Devices

I can provide lymphatic drainage massage and education on ways to support your lymphatic system. I also have contacts with various medical suppliers, and can provide guidance and training on how to apply medical compression safely and effectively. Only your doctor can diagnose you with lymphedema or other conditions that cause swelling, so please contact them to obtain a proper diagnosis and treatment plan

Education/Consults

As a Registered Nurse with over 5 years certified in wound care, diabetic skin and lymphedema, I can provide customized education to your staff on these topics so they may best assist residents.
